About Church of St Ibar
Church of St Ibar was built between 1850 and 1860. It has a simple single-cell form, built of squared sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
Notable people
The church was designed by Thomas Willis of Odessa Cottage, Wexford. Its interior includes grisaille memorial glazing for Reverend Thomas Stafford and Patrick Breen of Castlebridge House, together with a reredos supplied in 1898 by Edmund Sharp of Great Brunswick Street, Dublin.
