About Church of St Brigid, Dunleer
Church of St Brigid, Dunleer was built around 1830. It has a T-shaped plan and rendered walls. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a broach spire, stained-glass windows, mosaic work and an open timber roof.
History
The sanctuary mosaic tiling is associated with a refurbishment of 1884. Further refurbishment and repairs were carried out in 2000–01, representing two later phases of alteration after the original construction.
