About Christ the King
Christ the King was built between 1932 and 1933. It has a five-bay nave, built of brick under a pitched tiled roof. Notable features include a three-stage bell tower, stained glass including a rose window and buttressed walls.
History
Robinson and Keefe designed the church as part of a group prepared for the Eucharistic Congress of 1932. The same architectural practice also designed the adjoining Christ the King National Schools and Cabra Technical School.
