About All Saints’ Church, Doohamlet
All Saints’ Church, Doohamlet was built between 1857 and 1860 in the Early English Gothic style. It has a five-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, carved Stations of the Cross and a marble altar.
History
The church was rebuilt in 1882 and carries a date plaque from that phase. Surviving features include a sandstone bellcote, sandstone buttresses and cross finials, with exposed roof trusses and a Crucifixion window inside.
