About White Abbey Church (The Carmelites)

White Abbey Church (The Carmelites) was built between 1884 and 1889 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a cruciform plan with a four-bay nave, built of squared limestone. Notable features include a four-stage tower with a broach spire, stained glass including a rose window, buttressed walls and lancet windows.
