The building
This Church of Ireland church in Co. Tipperary dates from 1828. It comprises a nave with three-bay side elevations and a three-stage tower attached to the north side. The structure features roughcast rendered walls with a render plinth, while the tower is constructed of dressed sandstone with cut quoins and a carved date plaque. Architectural details include string courses, castellations, and pinnacles on the tower, along with round-headed openings framed by chamfered limestone block-and-start surrounds. The building has a pitched slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods and cast-iron latticed windows. A crypt is located on the east elevation.
