History

The church was built in 1953. The diocesan directory lists parish registers of baptisms from 1871, marriages from 1906, confirmations from 1935 and deaths from 1964.

Two burial grounds are listed for the parish, one at Gort a' Choirce with the date 1842 and Uirchill Mhuire, Gort a' Choirce, with the date 1972.
