Raymunterdoney St Paul (Ray) was built between 1803 and 1804. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and window tracery. The aisle was added in 1862.
The building
The Church of Ireland church features a three-bay nave with a gabled porch to the west. A vestry and aisle were added to the north long wall between 1862 and 1864 by architects Welland and Gillespie. The structure has painted roughcast rendered walls, pointed-arch windows with decorative tracery, and a pitched artificial slate roof with raised eaves. It stands set back from the road within a graveyard enclosed by a rubble stone boundary wall.
