About Straffan
Straffan was built in 1833. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave, built of squared stone. Notable features include a three-stage tower with an octagonal spire, stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and pinnacles.
Notable features
Inside, decorative tiles mark the central aisle beneath exposed timber roof construction carried on cut-stone corbels. Carved timber pews, stone wall memorials, panelled wainscoting and a Gothic-style reredos also survive.
