The building
St Patrick's is a detached single-cell Roman Catholic church built c.1930. It features a six-bay nave, a projecting porch, and a sacristy with a hipped slate roof. A freestanding bell tower with a pyramidal slate roof stands to the south-west. The structure has ruled-and-lined rendered walls with quoins and a plinth course. Pointed traceried windows contain stained glass, while the entrance includes a drop-arched opening with timber battened double doors.
