About St Patrick’s Church, Newport
St Patrick’s Church, Newport was built between 1914 and 1918. It has an eight-bay nave, built of squared sandstone. Notable features include a four-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and an organ.

The church was designed in 1914, constructed between 1914 and 1918 and opened in 1918. It was renovated in 1971, when the sanctuary was reordered.
