About St Patrick's Church, Boher
St Patrick's Church, Boher was built around 1820. It has a cruciform plan with a two-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and a bellcote.
The building
The church features a glazed timber porch and a lean-to with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Interior timber galleries are located in the north and south transepts. The west elevation displays marble memorial plaques. The site is enclosed by rusticated boundary walls with cast-iron railings and double-leaf cast-iron gates set between square-profile rusticated limestone piers.
