About St. Patrick, Recess
St. Patrick, Recess was built in 1922. It has a five-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include a two-stage tower, stained-glass windows, window tracery and buttressed walls.
The building
Flat sheet-metal and felt roofs cover the nave, chancel, chapels and sacristy, with rendered lean-to roofs to the side chapels on the north elevation. Raised rendered arcaded corbels run at the eaves of the nave, chancel and side chapels.
