About St Patrick, Clogh
St Patrick, Clogh was built in 1840. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
The building
This detached five-bay double-height Catholic church on a cruciform plan was built in 1840. It features rendered walls with stepped corner piers incorporating obelisk spirelets and a gabled bellcote with a cast-iron bell. The interior, reordered in 1983, retains an exposed timber roof construction and a panelled gallery on decorative pillars. The site includes a graveyard with cut-stone markers dating from post-1840 to the present.
