Colliery Church (Castlecomer Colliery) was built in 1818. The church has rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a two-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and an open timber roof.
Notable features
The interior retains timber pews, a carved Gothic-style lectern and stone wall monuments, one incorporating a bust portrait. The west gallery stands on octagonal piers, beneath an open timber roof with open spandrels.
