Sacred Heart, Moneenroe dates from 1928. The church has a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained glass including a rose window, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
History
The church was built posthumously from designs prepared by William Henry Byrne. It superseded an earlier nineteenth-century chapel nearby, and its early interior scheme appears to have undergone little alteration after the Second Vatican Council.
