About St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina

St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina was built between 1827 and 1837. It has a cruciform plan with a four-bay nave. Notable features include a three-stage tower with an octagonal spire, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and mosaic work.
