St. Mary's, Streete Parish was built around 1812. It has a T-shaped plan and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and crenellated parapets.
The building
St Mary's in Streete, Co. Westmeath, is a T-plan Roman Catholic chapel built c.1812. It was extended c.1869 with a chancel and sacristy designed by William Hague. The church was altered and re-roofed c.1932 by Michael Grace. It features a freestanding cast-iron belfry, a quatrefoil opening, and stained glass windows.
