About St. Kevin
St. Kevin is a Roman Catholic parish church in Tallaght, Co. Dublin. It is part of the Dublin Archdiocese.
History
St Kevin's Church was built in 1978, during a period of rapid housing development in the Dublin suburbs when many new communities were established. St Kilian's Church at Castleview followed three years later in 1981.
The parish of Kilnamanagh-Castleview was constituted in 2008 from two formerly separate parishes, Kilnamanagh and Castleview, and is under the joint patronage of St Kevin and St Kilian.
