About St. John the Baptist Church, Powerstown
St. John the Baptist Church, Powerstown dates from 1810. It has a cruciform plan with a two-bay nave and pebbledashed walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
