About Franciscan Friary

Franciscan Friary was built in 1827. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and pebbledashed walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage bell tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and crenellated parapets.
