About St. Gobnait's, Baile Bhuirne (Ballyvourney)
St. Gobnait's, Baile Bhuirne (Ballyvourney) was built in 1827. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
Notable features
The side aisles are separated from the nave by arcades carried on marble columns. The interior has a tongue-and-groove boarded ceiling and holy-water fonts, while rendered boundary walls enclose the church grounds.
