About Reidh na nDoiri
Reidh na nDoiri was built around 1870. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a bellcote, an internal gallery and window tracery.
The building
This freestanding gable-fronted church features a recent sacristy and extension to the rear. The exterior includes a stone cross on the south gable and cast-iron rainwater goods. Openings comprise pointed arches with Y-tracery, double lancet timber casement windows, and limestone sills. The entrance has square-headed timber battened double-leaf doors. Inside, a freestanding altar stands to the north, while a gallery to the south has a floor sloping towards the altar. Wrought-iron gates are set within rendered boundary walls.
