About St. Fursey's, Banteer
St. Fursey's, Banteer dates from 1828. It has a five-bay nave, built of squared sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and an internal gallery.
Notable features
The entrance areas include a carved limestone font and a carved limestone stoup. Inside are a coffered ceiling, confession boxes and a carved limestone memorial dated 1774 with urn and heraldic motifs in relief.
