About St. Cronan, Balla
St. Cronan, Balla was built between 1912 and 1913. It has a nine-bay nave, built of squared limestone. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and crenellated parapets.
Notable people
The design was prepared in 1906 by Rudolph Maximilian Butler of Dawson Street, Dublin. Interior work includes a 1919 reredos by Albert George Power, while the 1914 East Window is attributed to Franz Mayer and Company; other glazing is signed by George Daniels and Joshua Clarke and Sons.
