About St. Anne
St. Anne was completed in 1874. It has a six-bay nave, built of squared limestone. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
History
St Anne was begun in 1872 and opened in 1877. It was reconstructed in 1961 to a design by Edward Raphael Ryan of Galway, incorporating fabric from the deconsecrated Ballycarra Church. The interior was reordered in 1988 to align with liturgical reforms.
