St. Columba’s Church, Douglas dates from 1814. It has a five-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.

History

St Columba's was built in 1814. The parish was originally joined with Ballygarvan until about 1900, when it became independent. St Columba's is the older of the two churches in the parish, having been joined by St Patrick's in Rochestown in 1991.
