About St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cathedral
St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cathedral crowns the hill in Armagh, the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland. Construction began in 1840 but was delayed by the Great Famine, finally completing in 1873. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Armagh, Primate of All Ireland.
