About St. Brigid's, Kill
St. Brigid's, Kill was built around 1980 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a T-shaped plan and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, pinnacles and window tracery.
The building
The church incorporates a three-stage Gothic Revival tower from an earlier 1889 structure, which itself replaced a building of 1846. The modern nave features large windows with stained glass inlays probably from the earlier church. A date plaque on the tower records 1844 and 1899. The interior has a flat timber ceiling and a classical style reredos.
