About St. Bridget’s Church, Unionhall
St. Bridget’s Church, Unionhall was built in 1832. It has a four-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and a marble altar.
The building
The sacristy doorway is pointed-arched with a chamfered surround and a timber-battened door fitted with cast-iron strap hinges. Inside, a scissor-braced timber roof rests on stone corbels above a tiled floor, while rendered boundary walls carry wrought-iron railings and gates.
