About St Baithin’s, St Johnston
St Baithin’s, St Johnston is a Roman Catholic parish church in St Johnston, Co. Donegal. It is part of the Raphoe Diocese.
History
The church was built in 1857. The parish registers reach back further: baptismal records begin in 1843 and confirmation records in 1849, while marriage records begin in 1858 and the death register in 1951.
The parish has two burial grounds, the old cemetery dating from 1815 and the new cemetery from 1951.
