About St. Augustine's Church Clontuskert
St. Augustine's Church Clontuskert was built around 1820. The church has rendered walls. Notable features include a two-stage tower with a spire, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
The building
The cruciform-like arrangement is created by a sacristy on one long wall and a former porch, converted into a side chapel, opposite it. The stained-glass narrative scenes depict the Nativity, the Pietà and the Resurrection.
