About Ss Fechin and Lassara, Ballinacarrow
Ss Fechin and Lassara, Ballinacarrow was built around 1905. It has a five-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
The building
The church features a single-bay gable-fronted chancel to the east and a single-bay vestry projecting to the north-east. A sacristy and boiler house were added to the south-east and east respectively around 1990. The west elevation includes an open-bed pediment, round-headed niches containing statues, and a main entrance with Tuscan Doric pilasters. Hardwood double doors with six panels date from c. 1990.
