About Immaculate Conception Church, Ballymote

Immaculate Conception Church, Ballymote was built between 1855 and 1865 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a six-bay nave, built of ashlar stone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a spire, stained-glass windows, mosaic work and window tracery. It was designed by George Goldie.
