About Schull Holy Trinity (Skull)
Schull Holy Trinity (Skull) was built between 1852 and 1854. It has a seven-bay nave, built of limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and buttressed walls. It was designed by Joseph Welland.
Notable features
The church retains an open truss roof and interior fittings including pews, altar furniture and heating grills. The organ was built by T.W. Macahy of Cork in 1887. Exterior details include corbels on the nave and vestries, along with limestone boundary walls featuring gate piers and wrought-iron gates to the east.
