About Saint Patrick's Cullen
Saint Patrick's Cullen was built around 1845. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and pebbledashed walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
The building
Entrance porches project from the main façade and the north fronts of the transepts. A sanctuary projection adjoins the west transept, and the rear carries a flat-roofed sacristy with a rendered chimneystack. Inside, the roof structure is exposed.
