About Saint Patrick's Church, Kilcommon
Saint Patrick's Church, Kilcommon was built around 1875. It has a cruciform plan with a four-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a marble altar and pinnacles.
Notable features
The roof has decorative scalloped slate banding, cast-iron ridge cresting and finials, with cast-iron gutters carried on stone corbels and decorative hoppers. The front windows are recessed between stone buttresses, and a detached concrete bell tower stands nearby.
