About Sacred Heart Church, Carrickroe
Sacred Heart Church, Carrickroe was built in 1823. It has a cruciform plan with a two-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar. The church stands in its own graveyard.
