The building
This Church of Ireland building was constructed in 1834, probably to designs by diocesan architect William Farrell of Dublin. It features a three-bay nave with a diminished single-bay chancel and a west porch. The structure is built of coursed random sandstone rubble with angled buttresses and distinctive pinnacled embellishments on the gable-front. Notable details include Gothic Y-tracery windows with elongated quatrefoils and a chamfered openwork bellcote containing a bronze bell.
