About Our Lady Star of the Sea, Ballygarrett
Our Lady Star of the Sea, Ballygarrett dates from 1838. It has a four-bay nave under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage tower, stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and pinnacles.
Notable features
A high altar was reclaimed in 1994 from St Joseph's Convent in Wexford. Other features include decorative plasterwork by Patrick O'Connor of Wexford and signed wall monuments by Phelan and O'Doyle.
