About Our Lady Queen of the Universe, Currane
Our Lady Queen of the Universe, Currane was built in 1957. It has a seven-bay nave under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a marble altar and buttressed walls.
Notable people
A memorial window made in 1924 was installed in the church in 1957. Known as the Weddall Window, it was produced by Ethel Rhind and Michael Healy of An Túr Gloine from a design by Wilhelmina Geddes.
