About Our Lady of the Rosary
Our Lady of the Rosary was built in 1951. It has a simple single-cell form. Notable features include a bell tower and stained-glass windows. It was designed by Frank Corr.
The building
Designed by Frank Corr and Liam McCormick, this timber-clad church was built in 1951 by P. Molloy & Sons. It features a freestanding single-cell form with a belfry to the northeast. Extensions were added in 1955 and 1979. The stained glass, originally from Saint Mary's Convent of Mercy, was designed by Mayer of Munich. A carved white teak statue of Our Lady of Fatima by Oisín Kelly stands above the entrance.
