About St. Munchin
St. Munchin was built between 1920 and 1925 in the Romanesque style. It has a cruciform plan, built of squared limestone. Notable features include a bell tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and window tracery.
Notable people
Joseph O’Malley was the architect, and J. Kenny & Sons carried out the building work at a cost of £30,000. The stained-glass windows were designed by the F.X. Zettler Studio of Munich.
