About Our Lady Help of Christians

Our Lady Help of Christians dates from 1952. It has a cruciform plan with an eight-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include a five-stage tower and stained-glass windows.

History

The church was built to serve the newly expanded suburb of Cabra and was designed by Simon Aloysius Leonard. Its classical treatment incorporates Art Deco elements, which also appear in the internal vestibule doors and confessionals.
