Knockmourne St Luke (Conna) was built between 1814 and 1815. It has a two-bay nave, built of ashlar sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a two-stage tower, stained-glass windows and buttressed walls.
The building
This Church of Ireland structure comprises a two-bay nave and shallow chancel built in 1814-15, incorporating fabric from an earlier building. It features a possibly seventeenth-century two-stage tower to the west, constructed of rubble stone with a battered plinth. The tower retains patterned slates and a wind vane dated 1859, which appears to relate to later work. Ashlar sandstone walls are supported by buttresses, while the nave has paired pointed arch windows with quarry-glazed sashes.
