Kilnahue St John Evangelist (Hollyfort) was built in 1813. It has a single-cell plan with a three-bay nave under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a two-stage tower, an internal gallery, crenellated parapets and window tracery.
History
This Church of Ireland building was erected in 1813 with financial support from the Board of First Fruits. It was repaired in 1821 and subsequently improved in 1852, a phase attributed to designs by Joseph Welland. The church underwent further restoration in 2004.
