About Kilmocomogue (Bantry)
Kilmocomogue (Bantry) was built in 1815 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a three-bay nave, built of rubble stone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, pinnacles and window tracery.
Notable features
This Church of Ireland church contains a single-bay chancel to the south-east and a later three-bay single-storey vestry to the north-east. The tower displays clock faces on its south-west and north-west sides, while the south-west elevation features blind oculi and quatrefoil openings. The interior holds multiple memorials to members of the Shelswell-White family.
