About Killea St Andrew (Dunmore East)
Killea St Andrew (Dunmore East) was built in 1817. The church is built of rubble sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a broach spire, stained-glass windows, buttressed walls and lancet windows.
History
The church was extended in 1880–81 with a south-east transept, a two-bay chancel over a basement to the north-east and a three-stage corner tower to the west. It was renovated before 1999.
