About Killesk All Saints' (Duncannon)
Killesk All Saints' (Duncannon) was built between 1877 and 1878. It has a five-bay nave, built of squared sandstone. Notable features include stained glass including a rose window, a bellcote and buttressed walls.
The building
Designed by James Franklin Fuller, this Church of Ireland building replaced an older church at an inconvenient distance. Constructed from Old Red Sandstone with limestone dressings, it features a nave and chancel. The interior contains stained glass by Clayton and Bell and Franz Mayer, encaustic tiles, and an exposed timber roof. Restored in 2007-8, it stands alongside an adjacent rectory.
