About Holy Trinity Church – Derrinturn
Holy Trinity Church – Derrinturn was built in 1809. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include window tracery and lancet windows.
History
The church was renovated in 1846 and 1898, and again in 1973 when the sanctuary was reordered. A building inscription names R. Molony P.P. in connection with its erection, while the surviving windows include timber Y-tracery and sash glazing.
